Launched in September 2005 the Bunker has built a solid reputation for both live gigs and alternative clubs. Forward thinking student nights and live music showcases provide the widest range of entertainment in Belfast. The list of bands and disc jockeys that have graced the stage includes leading lights from all real music genres on both a local and international basis. An entertainment programme made up by various regular nightclubs and live concerts featuring touring and local bands allows every angle of the alternative to be covered. With an ethos that champions the underground alongside the best in local talent the Bunker has become home to those who love music and love to party in Belfast.
Every cult, movement & scene is catered for with a selection of nights based on sound, encompassing all avenues of the performing arts. Live bands from the full spectrum of modern music appear meaning there is always something for those who love Rock, Metal, Indie, Acoustic, Alt Rock, Instrumental, Post Rock, Soul, Punk, New Wave, Electro Pop, Hip Hop, No Wave, Big Beat, Breaks, Alternative Dance, Ska, Hardcore, Gothic, Garage, Folk, Alternative Country and even Psychedelic Space Rock Funk Jazz Fusion!!!.
Top class resident djs with music industry connections have their finger on the pulse of the freshest tracks for dancing for the hippest labels, collectives and independent producers. Forgotten gems and all time anthems blend seamlessly in a play list designed for the modern clubber. Each Bunker club nights has its own theme and are constantly renewing their play lists to keep the sounds fresh and the party rocking.

Classic Disco Pop and Rock.
A female friendly play list of classic songs that make girls dance. Fun filled music of yesteryear combines the pop classics from the like of Whigfield, Bucks Fizz and Tiffany with Disco Divas such as Gloria Gaynor, Diana Ross and the Nolan Sisters, along with MOR Rock by Bon Jovi, Boston and Journey. Gregz McCann shows little regard for fashion, coolness or pretence as he moulds a party like no other with a variety of alternative genres in one soul shaking set. All angles are covered from sexy sounds to the dirty underground including bloc rockin beats, drum and bass treats, indie and alternative suites and funk soul feats so you wont be able to sit in your seat!
The Bunker Club now features every Saturday as part of Laverys “3 Rooms for a Fiver” events Trident, Duel, Club AU & the New Triumvirate.
